Emergency Survival Shelters in Australia

A look at a number of different survival shelters constructed by students, from natural and sustainable materials, on a Bush Lore Wilderness Survival course in the bush in Queensland, Australia.

Each of these shelters was constructed by 2 people in approximately 2 hours or less and would be acceptable as first night accommodation in an area that warranted the making of a shelter. Successive days in the same shelter would logically see continual improvement of the structure thereby making it increasingly water and wind proof.

No one got wet in the making or use of these shelters 🙂
