Pyramid, Diamond, and Sphere
Last Winter’s ice storm brought down a fairly large chunk of a tree into our backyard, providing me with quite a variety of sticks, branches and limbs. I spent a beautiful spring morning and afternoon clipping, sawing and lashing together what I call “Pyramid, Diamond, and Sphere”. I got started by lashing and raising a basic tripod, then added a fourth limb, creating the pryamid. Then I added four smaller limbs, creating the diamond.I began the sphere with a few hoops, some string and three strategically placed bits of duct tape. Once I had a basic frame, I was able to weave in more sticks, hang the sphere, and then add more sticks after that. Something to do, something to look at, something to be enjoyed. Thank you for watching!
